NCPA had a call with CMS this week and was able to find out the following information about upcoming changes in the Aetna / Coventry Part D plans:

Effective April 1, 2015, CountyCare will implement a new mandatory maintenance drug program. This program requires CountyCare members to fill all maintenance prescriptions for a 90-day supply. 90-day maintenance prescriptions must be filled at a pharmacy participating in US Script’s EDS network.

Participating Pharmacies may not accept cash payment from a Covered Person, or from someone paying on behalf of the Covered Person, for any Minnesota Health Care Programs (MHCP) covered prescription drug.
