Since 1984, APCI has been the ‘united voice of independent pharmacy’

APCI began as a small buying group for a limited number of independent pharmacies in central Alabama. Since that time, the cooperative has grown to more than 1,800 members pharmacies in 26 states, and provides its members with a wide range of products and services.

Our mission is to represent the economic and professional interests of independent pharmacies by providing leadership, vision, and a collective voice for our members in the healthcare marketplace. Our goal is to level the playing field for our member pharmacies by providing innovative, targeted programs to benefit our entire membership.

Prime Therapeutics: Covered Person Identification Card Update for Mississippi State and School Employees’ Health Insurance Plan

Effective: January 1, 2016

Dear Valued Provider,

Effective January 1, 2016, Prime Therapeutics (Prime) will begin serving as the pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) for the Mississippi State and School Employees’ Health Insurance Plan. In preparation for this transition, a printing error occurred in producing the new ID cards which were recently mailed. Unfortunately, the RxBIN and RxPCN numbers were incorrectly printed on the cards. The ID number on the cards is correct, and is the same number as was used by Catamaran, the Plan’s previous PBM.

Navitus Health Solutions LLC: New Processing Announcement - FirstCare Health Plan

Effective January 1, 2016, Navitus Health Solutions will begin processing claims for FirstCare Health Plan Commercial, Self-Funded, Exchange and Medicare lines. This client has members in Texas. There are no changes to the current Medicaid processing information.

Argus: Reminder- Baylor Scott & White (BSW) Employee Health Benefit

Effective: December 28, 2015

What You Need to Know

Effective January 1, 2016, the Scott & White Health Plan will begin offering services for the Baylor Scott & White (BSW) Employee Health Benefit.

The BSW Employee Health Plan from SWHP will utilize Argus Health Systems as the prescription claims processor.
