Since 1984, APCI has been the ‘united voice of independent pharmacy’

APCI began as a small buying group for a limited number of independent pharmacies in central Alabama. Since that time, the cooperative has grown to more than 1,800 members pharmacies in 26 states, and provides its members with a wide range of products and services.

Our mission is to represent the economic and professional interests of independent pharmacies by providing leadership, vision, and a collective voice for our members in the healthcare marketplace. Our goal is to level the playing field for our member pharmacies by providing innovative, targeted programs to benefit our entire membership.

Effective March 1st 2017

Envolve Pharmacy Solutions (formerly US Script) and CVS Caremark® previously announced that effective March 1, 2017, CVS Caremark would begin to process and pay claims for Sunshine State Health Plan.

In certain situations, retail pharmacies may use Submission Clarification Codes (SCCs) – instead of calling the pharmacy help desk – to override NCPDP Reject 79 "Refill Too Soon" for Department of Defense (DoD) claims.

CVS Caremark: Envolve Pharmacy Solutions - Peach State Health Plan: Billing Instructions for 340B Drug Claims Submission

Effective April 1, 2017

Effective April 1, 2017, all 340B Covered Entities are required to bill the Georgia Medicaid Division with a submission clarification code of 20 on Fee-for-Service (FFS) and Care Management Organizations (CMO) outpatient pharmacy claims.
