Since 1984, APCI has been the ‘united voice of independent pharmacy’

APCI began as a small buying group for a limited number of independent pharmacies in central Alabama. Since that time, the cooperative has grown to more than 1,800 members pharmacies in 26 states, and provides its members with a wide range of products and services.

Our mission is to represent the economic and professional interests of independent pharmacies by providing leadership, vision, and a collective voice for our members in the healthcare marketplace. Our goal is to level the playing field for our member pharmacies by providing innovative, targeted programs to benefit our entire membership.

CVS Caremark : Updated to Preferred Drug List - Ohio Medicaid / Molina Healthcare of Ohio

Molina Healthcare of Ohio is an existing plan sponsor with CVS Caremark®. Molina Healthcare of Ohio updated the Preferred Drug List (PDL) effective July 1, 2017, and provided a three-month transition period through Sept. 30, 2017 for members identified as taking the medications listed on page 2 (based on pharmacy claims).

Navitus Health Solutions - Oxycontin Formulary Change Notice

Effective October 1, 2017

Effective 10/1/17, Oxycontin will no longer be covered on the Navitus formulary for our Commercial and Exchange plans. Xtampza® ER will replace Oxycontin as the preferred long-acting oxycodone product. Please see the Xtampza® ER package insert for dosage conversion instructions.
